THE INSPIRATION for the furniture crafted at Old Village Furniture is derived from designs created in the 18th and 19th centuries by generations of skilled New England craftsmen. Working in the time-honored manner of these traditional craftsmen, we pride ourselves on the high caliber of our workmanship and design.
Each piece of furniture is handcrafted using traditional joinery and construction methods. All surfaces are hand planed which leaves subtle undulations in the finished surface.This surface, coupled with the numerous steps in our finish process, creates the look and feel found only in well cared for antiques. From the individual antique glass panes in our cabinets to the sand cast solid brass hardware, we pay special attention to detail and craftsmanship to distinguish your piece for generations to come.
